Update – 17th March 2018
Hi There and welcome to the latest update on the book …And The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.
It is Saturday Morning and I am recovering from kidney stones. Yes, an ailment I cannot recommend as it is pretty awful and painful in equal measure however armed with a list of foods not to eat and instructions to drink three litres of water a day (hope I don’t drown) I am ready to be up and at it again.
I was informed by Ann last Wednesday that all the refunds will have been done by close of business on Thursday but alas I received two emails from people saying they had not been informed of their refund so once again can you please send a direct email to Ann at darker than Blue here (email@example.com). I have been sending your requests on but was instructed not to do this anymore but to get people to directly contact Ann. Simon’s email is not receiving emails (or so I am told) but he can send emails out.
Anyway for those of you who are still waiting for the refund and want to buy the book and fear missing the deadline to order and get the discount code please contact my partner Callum here (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let us know you want to buy the book and we will keep your discount code safe and apply it when you order.
For anyone who has had their refund and wants to take advantage of the discount offered to customers of the previous publisher then the offer ends at Midnight on Tuesday 20th March.
Regarding the postage well, we heard you and have acted and through the week we have been busy looking for a cheaper option and have found one. We have new prices for P&P;
- UK – Single Book (£17)
- UK – 2 Books (additional £8)
- Rest of the World – Single Book (£27)
- Rest of the World – 2 Books (additional £12)
If you have already purchased you will receive a partial refund of your shipping costs this week to make sure you aren’t over charged. This will only apply if there is a difference between the new shipping costs and the costs you were charged. If you purchased the book through the instalment plan, you will not receive a refund as your shipping costs do not come up to the price of the new deals.
I have also had some great news from some new contributors as well with the offers of some photos from the band’s last gigs in Europe in 1975 plus more previously unseen memorabilia. I have to thank all the contributors and will do privately and publicly in due course but also thank the two Genesis fan websites. The Waiting Room and Alan Hewitt and The Genesis Archive and Mark Kenyon for invaluable help and cooperation.
Well, another update due in a week or so and hopefully you will all remain Kidney stone free. Maybe I will go and play Nursery Cryme and Seven Stones! 🙂 As ever any questions drop me a line at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
